The department consists of experienced, highly qualified and dedicated team of urologists. We have the most advanced lithotripsy unit [ESWL] capable of treating kidney stones without the need of surgery.

The department treats patients of acute renal failure with various modalities of management including Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. Patients with glomerular disease routinely undergo ultrasound guided kidney biopsy by trained professionals.

The hospital has been approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu for performing both living donor and cadaver renal transplantation. The department is regularly performing Transurethral resection of Prostrate (TURP), renal Calculi surgeries like PCNL [Key hole surgery to remove kidney stone], Nephrectomy, living donor renal transplantation, TVT-O, etc. Ureteric stone removal using semi rigid and flexible ureteroscopes [LASER] and kidney transplant surgeries with high success rate are routinely done.
